The design of the refurbishment of the common areas of Duna Tower has recently been awarded to Hungary's KÖZTI.
GTC Hungary announced the design award in late December 2015, as a result of a design competition to select the most modern and functional upgrade of the common areas of the building.

KÖZTI is the largest architectural practice in Hungary with five design studios and approx. 75 architects, structural and MEP engineers. During its 66 years history the firm was involved in many large scale projects in Budapest; for example the recently completed Budapest airport extension or the reconstruction of the Parliament Square (Kossuth ter). KÖZTI has been working with GTC Hungary since 2000 and was the designer of several residential and office development projects.

Zoltan Tima has joined KÖZTI in 1989 and he is a Head of Studio since 1999. He has been responsible for grand scale residential and office projects, and also for the Master Plan and architectural design of the extension of Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport. He is the holder of several prestigious architectural awards in Hungary: The Ybl Prize and Pro Architectura Award and also the holder of the international RICS Heritage Award and the FIABCI Award.
